Earlier this month, Sargent & Lundy was named a Top Workplaces USA honoree for the sixth year in a row, ranking 11th among large employers nationwide.

The firm’s culture and continued recognition earned Sargent & Lundy additional recognition this year: USA TODAY profiled the company in a national feature story. The article highlights the firm’s engineer-led leadership, its focus on collaboration, long-term careers, and the way teams work across disciplines to solve complex challenges in power generation, grid modernization, nuclear energy, and emerging low-carbon technologies.

“What sets us apart is not just the scope of our projects, but how the work gets done,” said Chairman, President, and CEO Vic Suchodolski. “There’s a real sense that your voice matters and is heard here, whether you’re early in your career or are a seasoned leader.”

This year’s honor builds on a strong Top Workplaces track record. In 2025, Sargent & Lundy ranked 14th on the Top Workplaces USA list and received a milestone award for making the national list every year since it was introduced, alongside multiple Culture Excellence awards recognizing innovation, leadership, purpose and values, compensation and benefits, and work-life flexibility. The firm has also earned regional Top Workplaces awards in markets such as Chicago and Delaware, along with a national leadership award for Suchodolski. All Top Workplaces awards are based on anonymous employee feedback.

Together, these honors reflect a culture grounded in core values of quality, accountability, people, clients, innovation, and meaningful impact, supported by mentoring, professional development, and employee resource groups that help colleagues grow and succeed.
