Our multidiscipline team consists of electrical, instrumentation and controls, process, mechanical, civil, structural, and project management professionals licensed in all U.S. states. We have experience with projects including wellpad and multi-wellpad facilities, gathering systems and custody transfer, flow lines hydraulic modeling, central processing and gathering facilities, and saltwater disposal facilities.

We employ multiple business models for the upstream industry that allow us to perform large program work, such as developing standardized packages that can be modularized and developed at low cost for multiple sites per year, in addition to more “fit to purpose” approaches for new start-up and exploration companies. Our versatility allows us to take multiple approaches to engineering and design while meeting client requirements safely throughout multiple basins and different flow characteristics.

We have extensive experience with the facilities that store, process, and transport oil and natural gas by pipelines, trucks, and ships. Our experts focus on solving complex challenges of pipeline and facility infrastructure permitting, engineering, design, and project management.

We specialize in both greenfield and brownfield projects and have won multiple Engineering Excellence Awards through the American Council of Engineering Companies for our work in the midstream industry, including gas plant optimization and expansion projects, central gathering facilities, and oil terminal projects.

Our process safety management specialized team also assists multiple clients with their Maintenance of Certification (MOC) annual reviews and process hazard analysis action item closures.

We are experienced with downstream facilities such as oil refineries, natural gas cryogenic plants, and gas distribution. We understand the ways in which hydrocarbons are processed into thousands of products, such as gasoline, propane, ethane, asphalt, fertilizers, plastics, rubber, and more. Whether it be supporting refinery turnaround projects or gas distribution system design and construction oversight for towns throughout the U.S., we are built to support the entire downstream market.

Our work in downstream facilities focuses on upgrading, expanding, and optimizing existing facilities. Because these designated process safety management (PSM) facilities are under increased emissions regulations, they require extra to ensure safety and environmental constraints are met. From wellhead processing and extending, to downstream cryogenics, fractionation, and oil refinery support systems, our team is experienced with both complex and routine projects.

It’s critical that natural gas processing and oil refining processes deliver products to market safely, reliably, and efficiently. Our team provides engineering, planning, and design services to support natural gas processing and oil and petroleum refinery support systems.

Downstream capital and operation projects are frequently impacted by unpredictable markets. We provide engineering solutions that are agile and adaptable to market conditions without compromising safety, quality, environmental regulations, or project schedules.

Our process optimization experience includes refining operations, crude distillation, hydrocracking, and product distillation.

In addition to engineering and design services, our natural gas distribution specialists support our clients with inspection, permitting, environmental, project management, geographic information system (GIS), horizontal directional drilling (HDD) designs, and drafting services for the replacement of existing gathering, transmission, and distribution top-of-ground pipe, PVC pipe, and town border stations for natural gas utility service. Once our projects have been designed, we offer construction oversight, commissioning support, and as-built services to ensure the equipment has been installed as designed.

We have in-depth experience with both transmission and distribution systems. Over the last 15 years, we’ve designed and replaced over 1,000 miles of distribution systems throughout the U.S. and overseen both interstate and intrastate transmission projects. We specialize in assisting clients with becoming Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) compliant and have helped multiple clients develop standards and procedures for traceable, verifiable, and complete (TVC) systems, including the development of software and material and document tracking and storage for audit compliance. Additionally, we have experience completing projects in a diverse range of terrain, from rural areas to cities to challenging remote terrain.
