Sargent & Lundy swept all five Top Workplaces Spring 2025 Culture Excellence Awards for the second consecutive year. The recognition continues a remarkable string of honors resulting from exceptional employee engagement and feedback placing the company among a rare group of top performers.

“Winning all five of these awards back-to-back is an outstanding achievement,” said Sargent & Lundy Chairman, President, and CEO Victor Suchodolski. “Success builds upon success, and this proves that our culture of continuous improvement works. Thank you to all our employees for making Sargent & Lundy an exceptional place to work.”

Sargent & Lundy was recently named a “Top Workplace for Engineers” by Engineering.com, ranking fourth out of 10 large firms eligible for the award. The firm placed 14th out of 100 companies nationwide with more than 2,500 employees in the Top Workplaces USA rankings by USA TODAY, winning special recognition for receiving this award for the fifth consecutive year – every year since it was established.

Regionally, the firm’s headquarters in Chicago has been named a Chicago Tribune Top Workplace for 10 consecutive years, and its Wilmington office has been a Delaware News Journal Top Workplaces winner since 2019. Last fall, the company received three additional Culture Excellence Top Workplace awards for employee appreciation, employee well-being, and professional development.

Sargent & Lundy Chairman, President, and CEO Victor Suchodolski recently earned Top Workplaces USA’s inaugural Leadership Award based on the support of nearly 90% of employees who said they have confidence in the company’s leadership.

The awards are based on free surveys conducted by human resources research firm Energage. Based on more than 18 years of survey data, Energage is considered the gold standard of employer recognition programs because of its methodology and data-driven insights gathered from millions of employees at thousands of companies across the country. The survey measures employee engagement based on key benchmarks such as perceptions of fairness, growth opportunities, communication and collaboration, and shared beliefs in the company’s direction, values, and meaning.

Sargent & Lundy is currently hiring to meet increasing power demands. The company has more than 1,000 open positions in the U.S. and internationally for engineers, designers, project managers, and support staff. Opportunities can be found at sargentlundy.com/careers.
