Sargent & Lundy earned strong positions across multiple markets in Engineering News-Record’s 2026 Top Design Firms Sourcebook, maintaining a No. 1 ranking in Nuclear Plants and rising to No. 2 in Battery Storage.
ENR’s annual Sourcebook ranks firms across specific market sectors based on design revenue. Sargent & Lundy’s 2026 results reflect continued strength across its core power markets, with a No. 3 ranking in Fossil Fuel and No. 8 ranking in Transmission and Distribution. The firm also achieved its highest Battery Storage ranking to date, rising from No. 5 to No. 2, while continuing its long-standing leadership in Nuclear Plants at No. 1 – a distinction the firm has earned eight times in the past decade.
