Several Sargent & Lundy substation professionals will attend this year’s Substation Design Solution Industry Consortium to discuss grid solutions for rising power demands. The four-day conference, beginning April 13 in Denver, will feature nearly 70 presentations focused on industry advancements and strategies to meet soaring power consumption.
The SDSIC is the premier event for substation design in North America, drawing over 450 engineering leaders, senior technicians, and consultants. The consortium’s goal is to accelerate substation design and construction by establishing common workflows, toolkit functionalities, and shared libraries to develop industry standards.
Sargent & Lundy is a conference sponsor and will be at Booth 4 to welcome attendees and discuss the firm’s grid and substation experience, including distribution substations and transmission switchyards across a wide range of configurations for both greenfield and brownfield facilities. The firm is also employing its wealth of substation, grid interconnection, and new generation project expertise to respond to the needs of data centers, manufacturing clients, and other large-load electric consumers.
