Recent operating plant support includes serving as the Engineer-of-Choice (EOC) for 16 clients, providing engineering and design services to 49 PWRs and 24 BWRs. These nuclear plant owners and operators outsource their engineering needs to Sargent & Lundy in order to effectively address short- and long-term requirements to maintain safe, reliable, and economical station operation.

Many assignments for our EOC clients are for long-term, comprehensive support. They depend on our expertise and ability to manage complex projects and concurrent programs. Other assignments are fast-track and depend on our capability to rapidly deploy significant engineering and design resources for a short time. In addition, we are called on repeatedly to help clients accurately resolve operating plant programs and issues. From complex analyses of design margin needed immediately to keep a plant on-line to large backlog reduction assignments, our teams are highly proficient at rapidly sizing up and solving whatever problems arise.
