A team from Sargent & Lundy will be on hand to share their insights and expertise in solving complex midstream pipeline and storage issues at this week’s GPA Midstream Rocky Mountain Chapter 10th annual regional conference. The firm will be among the conference’s exhibiting sponsors with team members available in the vendor showcase area to discuss Sargent & Lundy’s extensive experience serving the oil and gas industry.
The full-day conference will feature a presentation from Sargent & Lundy’s Dima Nabhani focusing on the implementation of carbon capture technology in the industry. Nabhani will discuss “Changes and Growth in Methods for Removal of CO2 from Vapor Streams,” exploring both current and emerging carbon capture technologies along with opportunities for them to be applied in the midstream oil and gas sector.
Since 2004, Sargent & Lundy has provided leadership and experience in conducting feasibility studies and technical engineering and design work for nearly 150 carbon capture projects across the U.S. for several first-of-a-kind projects. The firm served as owner’s engineer for NRG Energy’s Petra Nova carbon capture project, the largest commercial-scale post-combustion carbon capture retrofit in the world.
The regional conference, taking place in Denver, provides a forum for more than 1,000 members from more than 200 companies across the industry to network and exchange ideas. The conference will feature several other presentations along with a roundtable discussion and scholarship award.
