Sargent & Lundy has received the Tennessee Valley Authority’s 2026 Supplier Management Valley Supplier Award. TVA presented the award Aug. 24 during its Supplier Management and Partner Recognition Awards ceremony in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Sargent & Lundy began its partnership with TVA in 1994 and established its Chattanooga office presence in 1997 to provide ongoing local support for TVA projects. The firm’s local operations have helped build long-term relationships and dedicated project teams that work as fully integrated, collaborative partners with TVA, allowing the firm to remain connected to the client’s and region’s needs.
The Valley Supplier Award recognizes TVA partners that deliver trusted performance and innovative solutions. To be considered, a supplier must retain a significant portion of its contracted work in the Tennessee Valley. This requirement reflects TVA’s commitment to maintaining a supplier base rooted in the region.
The award affirms over three decades of successfully meeting TVA’s changing energy needs with strategic planning, engineering, modernization, implementation, and long-term support across its power portfolio.
