Sargent & Lundy advanced to No. 23 on Engineering News-Record’s list of the Top 500 Design Firms in the U.S., and ranked third among the top 20 in the power industry. The rankings mark some of the firm’s highest rankings, and its strongest showing in power since 2016.

Sargent & Lundy’s all-time high marks included a spot at No. 14 on the magazine’s Top 100 Pure Designers, and an impressive showing at No. 23 among the Top 50 in International Markets.

“We are clearly on the right path and these rankings prove it,” said Sargent & Lundy Chairman, President, and CEO Victor Suchodolski. “We’re seeing tremendous growth across all sectors, and it’s a testament to our commitment to our clients and our team’s dedication to producing the highest quality deliverables.”

The rankings measure design-specific revenues for the 500 largest U.S.-based design firms, both publicly and privately held, across specific market sectors and categories. They provide a benchmark for each firm’s performance in the prior year and highlight trends across the engineering, architecture, and construction industry.

Sargent & Lundy serves clients in the power, energy, gas distribution, industrial, and government sectors. The firm is a global leader in power, energy, and decarbonization with expertise in grid modernization, renewable energy, energy storage, nuclear power, conventional power, carbon capture, and hydrogen.
