Following Sargent & Lundy’s No. 1 Delaware Top Workplaces ranking this week, The News Journal spotlighted the firm’s Wilmington office in two articles, featuring an interview with Chairman, President, and CEO Victor Suchodolski and showcasing the office culture that makes it the state’s best employer.

The articles highlight the company’s leadership across the power, energy, industrial, and government sectors with a focus on the Wilmington team’s work in advancing the next era of nuclear and strengthening the electrical grid. Suchodolski discussed what makes a business successful and how the company overcomes challenges.

This is the seventh consecutive year Sargent & Lundy has made the list of Delaware’s Top Workplaces. The rankings are based on anonymous survey responses that cover more than 20 factors, including pay and benefits, company direction, leadership, meaningful work, employee appreciation, and more. A record number of Sargent & Lundy employees participated in this year’s survey and gave the company high marks for having a strong direction, welcoming innovative ideas, and operating by strong values.

The firm is currently hiring in Wilmington and throughout the company. Opportunities for engineers, designers, project managers, and professional support staff can be found at sargentlundy.com/careers.
