Senior Vice Presidents

Pareez Golub

Pareez Golub joined Sargent & Lundy in 2019 and is a project director supporting the firm’s nuclear power services. She specializes in first-of-a-kind projects and initiatives and is widely recognized as a leader in nuclear digital modernization and human-factors instrumentation and controls. She currently directs market-leading nuclear digital modernization and license renewal teams and founded the firm’s artificial intelligence initiative. She received the 2020 American Nuclear Society’s prestigious H.M. Hashemian Mid-Career Award and sits on several industry standards committees. Golub holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical and computer engineering from Drexel University and is based in Wilmington, Delaware.

Kuldip "KD" Mohanty

Kuldip “KD” Mohanty joined the firm’s Chicago headquarters in 2024 as chief technology officer. He expanded the firm’s traditional operations-focused information technology function into an innovative, business-driven organization. He has led major initiatives to modernize core infrastructure, strengthen cybersecurity, and launch AI across the firm. Over 30 years he has worked across several industries, including executive leadership roles for global insurance, financial services, technology, and public-sector organizations. Mohanty holds a Master of Science in computer applications from Jorhat Engineering College in India and a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University.

Daniel Webb

Daniel Webb joined Sargent & Lundy in 2008 as a pipe stress engineer and has since served as site lead and project manager. He is currently a project director for nuclear power plant projects, leading a dynamic team of engineers and designers conducting studies and design changes for nuclear plant clients. He is a skilled project manager, steering multidisciplinary teams through complex scheduled outages and modification projects. Webb holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University. Based in Chattanooga, he is a licensed Professional Engineer in Tennessee.

Vice Presidents

Peter Carusona

Peter Carusona joined the firm in 2008 and is a project director supporting its nuclear power services. Carusona’s expertise in Nuclear Regulatory Commission licensing applications, owner’s engineering services, nuclear plant siting evaluations, and technology assessments has helped expand the firm’s nuclear portfolio. He leads new generation nuclear initiatives, including small modular reactor development for domestic and international clients. Carusona earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Iowa and a Master of Science in engineering management from Northwestern University. Based in Chicago, he is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois and New Mexico.

Patrick Daou

Patrick Daou joined Sargent & Lundy in 2011 and is a project director supporting the firm’s energy consulting and planning services. He has supported financing for novel generation, energy storage, manufacturing, critical mineral, and other innovative projects along with leading conventional generation project development. Daou has expanded the firm’s growth in the data center, manufacturing, critical mineral, and carbon capture sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois and is based in Chicago.

Brian Faga

Brian Faga joined the firm in 2005 and is currently a director supporting energy and industrial projects. Faga leads complex power generation and environmental retrofit projects, overseeing engineering, procurement, construction, and owner’s engineering services for new generation, decarbonization, and plant betterment endeavors for several long-term clients. Faga holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science in biosystems engineering from Oklahoma State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. He is based in Chicago.

Anne Moon

Anne Moon joined Sargent & Lundy in 2006 and is a director supporting electric grid projects through strategic planning, owner’s engineering, detailed engineering, and project execution services. Moon has been instrumental in driving the firm’s strategic asset management portfolio growth by advising clients navigating complex infrastructure asset decisions. Her guidance emphasizes operational efficiency, reliability, sustainability, and resiliency and has notably resulted in strong, long-term client relationships. Moon holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Michigan Technological University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois. She is based in Chicago.

Wayshalee Patel

Wayshalee Patel directs environmental control systems, licensing, and permitting for Sargent & Lundy’s energy infrastructure projects. She joined the firm in 2006 and currently supervises over 35 subject matter experts who interpret evolving regulatory requirements, develop permitting and compliance strategies, and evaluate the technical and economic performance for advanced emissions control technologies. Patel oversees key specialties, including site selection, environmental licensing and permitting, environmental control systems, and meteorology. She holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Nebraska and Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois. Based in Chicago, she is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois.

Adam Redd

Adam Redd joined the firm in 2001 and currently serves as a director providing critical engineering oversight for major new conventional power projects. He has vast experience supporting retrofit and betterment projects and new generation combined-cycle, simple-cycle, and reciprocating internal combustion engine projects. He translates that experience into strategic mentorship for project management leadership among discipline professionals. Redd holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois and a licensed Professional Engineer in Arizona, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New York, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. He is based in Chicago.

Nancy Taleb

Nancy Taleb joined Sargent & Lundy in 2024 as a director supporting the firm’s nuclear power projects. She has more than 20 years of international experience in large, new generation nuclear projects, with expertise in engineering design, project management, construction, contract management, and operating life extension programs. Based in Toronto, she has been instrumental in growing the firm’s Canadian operations. Taleb earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science in engineering entrepreneurship and innovation from McMaster University. She is a licensed Professional Engineer in Canada and a certified Project Management Professional.

Greg Wagner

Greg Wagner joined the firm’s project controls and scheduling operations in 2008 and has ascended to lead project management office services for electric grid projects. He’s been instrumental in founding and scaling the firm’s program and project management practice, directing cross-functional teams executing complex capital projects. He currently oversees talent acquisition, defines operational processes, and directs PMO projects across multiple service areas for the firm to ensure delivery excellence. Wagner holds a Bachelor of Science in general engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Illinois and a certified Project Management Professional. He is based in Chicago.

Jason Weller

Jason Weller joined Sargent & Lundy in 2025 as a project director supporting electric grid projects. With nearly 25 years in the industry spanning technical design and leadership roles, he has strengthened the firm’s West Coast presence, including spearheading a new Los Angeles office. He has led large-scale substation and transmission line programs across North America, with a focus on high-voltage infrastructure, contract management, and quality control supporting renewable integration and grid reliability. Weller holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Kansas and is a licensed Professional Engineer in California and Kansas. He is based in Los Angeles.

Joseph Zmuda

Joe Zmuda joined Sargent & Lundy in 2022. As a nuclear power project director, he leads planning, review, and analysis for new generation and operating fleet projects. He advanced the firm’s growth as a strategic engineering partner for new-generation, modernization, and extended power uprate projects. Zmuda holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Notre Dame, Master of Science in civil engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina. Based in Charlotte, he is a licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina, Florida, Maryland, and South Carolina.
