April 25, 2024 – Sargent & Lundy is a gold sponsor of this year’s Women’s Energy Network (WEN) conference, which celebrates the organization’s 30th anniversary and promotes the future of the power industry as it transitions to meet increasing demands with innovative technological breakthroughs.
The two-day conference in Atlanta kicks off on April 28 and will feature educational sessions, industry trends, professional networking, and insights from women leaders throughout the industry. About a dozen women from Sargent & Lundy are attending the event, which has the theme, “Envision What’s Next.”
The conference will also celebrate WEN’s three decades of groundbreaking work with an anniversary gala at the Georgia Aquarium. Founded in 1994 by energy attorney Karyl White, WEN has grown to include more than 7,000 energy professionals globally through conferences, community initiatives, and other events designed to provide networking opportunities and foster the career and leadership development of women in the energy industry.
While the organization is celebrating its past, it will also be looking ahead to the future with numerous sessions focused on the energy transition. The opening keynote will be delivered by Novera Khan, a longtime WEN member and CEO of EmBER Advisory LLC which supports senior executives and leaders from across the energy and commodities markets, discussing the path toward sustainability.
