October 13, 2014 - Sargent & Lundy's Kurt Neubauer shared insights on nuclear power technology selection and participated in a panel discussion about nuclear power development in the Middle East at the recent Power-Gen Middle East Conference held in Abu Dhabi. Neubauer presented approaches and guidance on the technical selection of NSSS system design/supply, especially with respect to nations seeking to develop nuclear power for the first time.

In addition, the panel explored the relevance and effectiveness of nuclear power in a world of both falling fossil fuel prices and rising concerns about carbon emissions. Neubauer noted that audience participation was extensive and thoughtful.
