March 24, 2021 – The American Nuclear Society’s Human Factors and Instrumentation and Control Division is hosting a free virtual webinar, “Digital Modernization Strategies Lunch & Learn,” April 1 at 12 noon EDT. This is the first webinar in a series that will provide greater access to notable leaders, trends, and practices within the industry from a virtual setting.
This webinar will present multiple perspectives on strategic digital modernization including fleet-wide, single-site, regulated, and non-regulated utilities. You will hear impactful dialogue on modernization plans that impact safety and non-safety systems, the use of data analytics, Makerspace initiatives, and main control room mods geared toward efficient plant operations. The dynamic approaches ultimately support the goal of long-term U.S. nuclear fleet sustainability.
The panel will be moderated by Sargent & Lundy Senior Manager Pareez Golub, who is a leader in digital instrumentation & control engineering and licensing for the nuclear industry. Panel members include four distinguished industry leaders on digital modernization strategies geared toward economic sustainability for the U.S. nuclear fleet:
