February 5, 2021 – Sargent & Lundy is proud to announce it has earned a 2021 Top Workplaces USA honor. It is the inaugural year for the national award, hosted by Top Workplaces, LLC.
The awards are based solely on feedback gathered through anonymous employee engagement surveys from more than 1,100 organizations. Survey questions are centered on workplace culture aspects proven to predict high performance against industry benchmarks.
Sargent & Lundy’s survey results show clear signs its employees feel engaged, appreciated, and fulfilled. One employee commented, “Every employee is valued and has a voice. Participation, new ideas, and thinking outside norms to problem-solve and adapt are very welcome.” The survey responses also indicate employees believe the company is going in the right direction, it operates efficiently and well, and senior managers understand what’s really happening at the firm. Approximately 82% of Sargent & Lundy’s employees participated in the survey.

Energage, the third-party research partner who administered the survey, recently announced the award recipient list. Its research shows that top-tier Top Workplace organizations experience a 42% higher employee retention rate and 2.3 times the employee engagement levels compared to other organizations.
