Tom Foley Joins Sargent & Lundy as Project Director for Power Delivery Projects

Experienced executive in complex power delivery and power generation projects


October 27, 2016 — Thomas S. Foley, an experienced power industry project executive, has joined Sargent & Lundy.  Foley will serve as a Project Director, based in the firm's Wilmington, Del., office where he will provide leadership on projects for Sargent & Lundy clients along the East Coast.  His primary focus will be on transmission and substation engagements.

Foley has over 20 years of experience in management and execution of engineering and engineer-procure-construction management (EPCM) projects for large electric utility clients as well as consulting expertise.  Prior to joining Sargent & Lundy, Foley most recently spent 14 years at Altran including serving as their Sector VP for Global Energy and CEO of Altran North America.

Foley serves on the Pennsylvania State University Industry Professional Advisory Council - Electrical Engineering and the Ohio State University Nuclear Engineering Advisory Board.  He holds an MBA from Saint Joseph’s University (Philadelphia) and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.  Foley is a registered Professional Engineer in 11 states.
