Sargent & Lundy Teams to Present at Electric Power 2016, New Orleans

Presentations focus on a variety of topics


March 24, 2016 – At the 18th Annual Electric Power 2016 Conference in New Orleans, April 18-21, Sargent & Lundy staff will be presenting four papers. The conference is known for bringing together professionals from various industries to explore vital issues in the development of today and tomorrow’s electric power markets.

From Sargent & Lundy, Holly Hills will present Byproduct Fixation as a Low-Cost Approach to Complying with the Effluent Guidelines; coauthored with Danielle Flagg also of Sargent & Lundy.

Emily Kunkel will present Ammonium Bisulfate (ABS) Root Cause Analysis and Troubleshooting for NRG’s W.A. Parish Unit 5 & 6; coauthored by Andy Carstens, Sargent & Lundy; Bruce Bland, NRG Energy; Keith Nemec, NRG Energy; and Mitch Levings, NRG Energy.

Presenting Clean Power Plan Compliance with Natural Gas Utilization Technologies for Sargent & Lundy is Marc Lemmons. The paper was coauthored by Emily Kunkel and Raj Gaikwad both of Sargent & Lundy.

Strategies for Water Reduction at Steam Turbine Generating Plants will be presented by Sargent & Lundy’s Wayshalee Patel and is coauthored by Matthew Heermann also from Sargent & Lundy.
