Sargent & Lundy Once Again Named One of Chicago’s Top 100 Workplaces

Prestigious honor is a direct result of employee feedback

November 14, 2016 - Sargent & Lundy is pleased to announce it has been named to the Chicago Tribune‘s list of Top 100 Workplaces in the Chicago area for the second consecutive year, a recognition based on feedback from employees.  The firm was ranked number 15 in the Large Employers category. The Tribune’s 2016 special report showcases the best places to work in the Chicago region.

“We’re honored to be recognized yet again on this prestigious list among so many admired companies,” said CEO Tom White. “We take the most pride in knowing this award is the direct result of our employee’s opinions. Sargent & Lundy’s greatest strength is its people, and we are grateful to them for making Sargent & Lundy such a great place to work.”

The Top 100 Workplaces are determined by feedback from confidential employee surveys conducted by Workplace Dynamics, an independent research firm specializing in employee surveys and workplace improvement, on behalf of the Tribune. The survey asks employees to evaluate their employers on various issues such as the direction of the company, effectiveness of management, career opportunities, working environment, employee appreciation, and salary and benefits. This year the group invited 1,861 companies to participate and 233 companies submitted surveys.

The winning companies were announced at an award ceremony November 10. The event and Top 100 Workplaces special report publicly recognized the most dynamic and supportive area companies to work for.
