Providing QA/QC support for the DOE Office of Science project

March 15, 2017 - Sargent & Lundy LLC has been awarded a contract to provide senior QA/QC support to US ITER. US ITER is a Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science project hosted by Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee. The United States is a partner nation with the ITER Organization, an unprecedented international collaboration of scientists and engineers working to design, construct, and assemble a burning plasma experiment that can demonstrate the scientific and technological feasibility of nuclear fusion power for the commercial power grid.
