Sargent & Lundy has the technical expertise and experience to address CO2 removal from the combustion of fossil fuels. We provide careful analysis of technologies to ensure risks are minimized and that the selected process has the greatest possibility for success. Each of these technologies currently under industry-wide assessment present unique advantages and limitations that require expert evaluation.

Our recent experience includes performing assessment studies to address the addition of large IGCC units utilizing gasification technology, including CO2 removal. Our scope included preparation of a balance of plant cost estimate, project schedule, and general arrangement drawings, and sequestration evaluations.
